I used Victorian Orchid as a typeface on my first project for my first internship. It feels special to me in that way. It's also a rather elegant typeface I believe I'll find myself using for a long time.
1st iterations of Designer, Foundry, History, Anatomy, Font Family, Symbols, and quote pages. 2nd iterations of Designer, Foundry, History, and a quote page.
Took something of a turn during a critique, I completely reworked the booklet to provide better pacing and incorporate more applications.
Final Mock-ups!
I even incorporated a pop-up "orchid" bouquet as a surprise factor!
This project really made me question myself as a designer. Like why did I decide to take up design in the first place? What made me think I was so deserving to learn at a design school? Why didn't I have a back up plan? Why wasn't I as passionate about design as I thought?

Meeting with various teachers and advisors really helped. Hearing about their experiences with design. I don't know if the passion is necessarily clear with me, but I know that I'll always bring a project from start to finish. Perhaps my passion is motivation to do good? Not sure. My instructors seem to have good faith in me as a design student, so why not keep moving forward? I can go so many places with a degree and experience in design.
